The US Atlantic Seaboard’s only leading local and international airsoft exhibition, drawing exhibitors and attendees from all over the United States and world. This exciting expo was be held March 5th - 7th, 2010, at SHOWPLACE in High Point, NC

Mad Bull has released a new M4/16 style metal hop-up unit.

Mad Bull has released a new M4/16 style metal hop-up unit with integrated tracer activation circuit.

Features:
Including a Tracer LED Unit (Optional, Sold separately), Chamber Lock, and Easy Adjustment Device.
(1) The LED Tracer Unit: You can buy it separately and attached to the Hopup unit. Use your AEG battery and connect to your Tracer Unit. The LED can brighten the tracer BB when BBs are in the chamber.
(2) Chamber Lock: Designed by Brian Holt. With this new hop up design you will not have to worry about losing and dropping several bb’s with a magazine change. This new design provides  you with a way to keep bb’s in your AEG and ready to use and not on the floor and even better it stabilizes the top of the magazine to ensure a secure and flawless feed of bb’s into the AEG.
CAUTION: This hop up unit is designed for the experienced and responsible Airsoft player. With the magazine removed the AEG is still able to fire several bb’s.  Always wear safety goggles and treat all Airsoft weapons as if they were loaded.
(3) Easy Adjustment Wheel device: Use TM G36 style adjustment device and apply on the M4/AR unit.

New hop up spacer design now available

Shredder's Concave Spacer is sure to revolutionize the hop-up system.

Q - What is a Shredder's Concave Spacer or SCS?

A - A Shredder's Concave Spacer or SCS replaces the stock hop-up nubs/spacers that come along with AEG's. It it manually made on a lathe and each is measured with the use of a Mitutoyo Digital Caliper in order to get a precise measurement that will make it fit inside the hop assembly and the barrel window.

Q - What is it made of and why?

A -It is made from a special engineering plastic which is light, flexible, chemical/wear resistant and great machinability.

Q - Is it better than the other nubs/spacers out in the market? Why?

A -YES it is better! The reason behind my answer is... out of all the designs and measurements that I made, the concave shape of the SCS and its wide gap in the middle provides the BEST hop rubber bucking to bb surface contact. It aligns the bb's inside the barrel at the center and eliminates the possible sideways movement as the bb's pass directly below the hop bucking.

IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!!!

The SCS makes your hop-up very sensitive and it must be aligned/centered properly to get its maximum effect.

The SCS is not a "plug and play" hop-up upgrade and you must eliminate all the hop-up problems (wobbles, misalignments, hop-up defects such as plastic/metal "flash" that came from the factory molds, barrel window must be at least 4.10mm wide and the edges should not be sharp).

Shredder can guarantee that the SCS will improve bb groupings and range PROVIDED that it is installed properly. If you install it hastily without troubleshooting and fixing your hop-up and barrel problems prior to the SCS installation, you will certainly get bad results.

Operation Eagle

Operation Eagle is a premier airsoft event held in Locust, NC at Boss Paintball every July (7/26 this year). It is hosted by Eagle Productions and the NCAO (North Carolina Airsoft Organization) and sponsored by a huge number of local merchants, companies, and organizations (such as the Charlotte Panthers). The primary airsoft sponsor is Big Boy Toys in Oak Ridge, NC who will be set up to vend all you airsoft needs at the event. Operation Eagle is a charity game with all the proceeds going to the Autism Society. In 2008, Op Eagle raised almost $2000 for the Autism Society.

Follow up -> Operation Eagle was a huge success. Everyone had a fantastic time.
While final tallies are not in on the money raised. It is safe to say that we easily topped the Operation Eagle I donation.
Plans for Operation Eagle III have already begun.
